TEP crews repair storm damage

Tucson Electric Power crews worked Monday replacing 15 downed and broken poles along South Alvernon Way between Benson Highway and Valencia Road.

The poles were damaged in Sunday's storm.

So far this year, TEP has had to replace 70 poles because of monsoon damage, including four others from Sunday's storm: three in the Prince-Campbell area and one near Fifth Street and Country Club Road.
