A Scottsdale wedding photographer and videographer turned his $300 commercial into a $1 million payday when he won the grand prize in Doritos’ Crash the Super Bowl contest.

Ryan Andersen directed the 30-second spot, “Time Machine,” which stars his 6-year-old son, Gavin, and former Tucson actor Daved Wilkins. It was produced by Andersen’s friend Raj Suri.

In the commercial, Gavin’s character persuades Wilkins to test out his homemade time machine as a ruse to get the man to give up his Doritos.

It was one of five finalists in the Doritos contest. Two of the finalists had their spots aired during the big game.

The commercial with the most votes on Doritos’ website took home the grand prize, and the winner was announced live on “Good Morning America” Monday morning.

Andersen also has the opportunity to work on the upcoming film “Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.”

Andersen told the Star in a recent interview that if he won, he planned to buy a house and a reliable car with his winnings.
