Suns' Frye to appear at Cox store openings
The Phoenix Suns' Channing Frye will be the celebrity guest today as Cox Communications marks the opening of one new Tucson retail store and the remodeling of another.
Frye, a former Arizona Wildcats star, will sign autographs and take photographs with the first 150 fans from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the remodeled store at 5441 E. Broadway and from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the new store, 1610 W. Valencia Road. There will also be free food, prizes and family activities.
The East Broadway store is a Cox Solutions Store, while the Valencia store is a Cox Authorized Retailer.
Circle K job fair to fill variety of openings
Circle K will hold a job fair on April 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The company is hiring store managers, store assistants and customer-service representatives in the Tucson area.
Attendees are encouraged to apply online at www.circlekaz.com before the event, which will take place at the Circle K at 1025 E. Ajo Way.
