Ronald McDonald is digging the shake, and we don't mean the milk version.

The mascot of McDonald's teamed up with six southwest Tucson schools and Tucson McDonald’s owner Travis Heriaud to do the “Harlem Shake.”

It's for a good cause, to support McTeacher’s Nights at Ajo & Kinney McDonald’s, 4960 W. Ajo Way in Tucson.

The video features Ronald McDonald dancing before cutting to an excited crowd of Southwest Tucson teachers, PTA members and families. In the final shot, Tucson McDonald’s owner Travis Heriaud urges support for McTeacher’s Nights. Participating schools included: Vesey Elementary, Robles Elementary/Altar Valley Middle School, Banks Elementary, Lawrence Elementary, Warren Elementary and Valencia Middle School. The Ajo & Kinney McDonald’s is hosting a McTeacher’s Night Challenge fundraising event tonight through May 8 to celebrate its recent re-opening and remodel. Organizers expect to raise thousands of dollars for the six local schools: Robles Elementary/Altar Valley Middle School, Lawrence Elementary, Banks Elementary, Vesey Elementary, Valencia Elementary and Warren Elementary.
