Tucson-based artificial heart maker SynCardia Systems Inc. has been named to Forbes magazine’s list of “America’s Most Promising Companies” for the second year in a row.

SynCardia, which is expecting key regulatory decisions this year to accelerate the company’s growth, ranked 69th in Forbes’ top 100 list. The only other Arizona-based company to make the list was Phoenix-based Inilex Inc., which sells hardware and software that locates stolen cars and tracks company fleets, at 92nd on the list.
